More similar to the Hahoe Folk Village in Andong than the one outside
of Seoul - it feels more like an actual village than a history lesson
or tourist attraction. Song-up was formerly Cheju-do's capital, having
been founded back in the 1200s. The majority of the houses are of the
thatched roof, stone courtyard variety located alongside winding alleyways.
Get away from any tour groups that may be present and step back into
Cheju's past.
