Called Maisan, or 'Horse Ears Mountain' due to the unique shape of its twin peaks. What makes the park such an interesting visit however
is the Buddhist temple, Tapsa, located at the foot of the mountain. The temple is not so much a building
as it is a collection of hundreds of stones piled one atop another.
These pagodas number about 80 and, according to legend, were put together
about 100 years ago by a hermit monk as his personal prayer for peace.

Transportation
Bus:
50-60 minutes from Chon-ju and about 10 minutes from the nearby
village of Chinan. Buses for the park depart Chinan every 30
minutes from 8 a.m. to 6:20 p.m. Buses for Chinan depart Chonju
every 10 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
