- Though the village is technically a re-creation
don't let that spoil it. Quite a few of the 117 buildings are actually
100-300 years old - moved here from various sites around the island.
Construction of the others was kept faithful to original designs and
techniques.
The village features an open area for folk performances
and a market where you can buy traditional food, drinks, paintings and
other crafts. A pleasant walk through history with ample photo and eating
opportunities.
