Toksu Palace

    Toksu Palace
Toksu-kung ('kung' can mean 'palace' or 'castle' in Korean) is located in the heart of downtown Seoul not five minutes from City Hall. It has over 400 years of history and, though small, has served as the royal residence twice in times of trouble. Every weekend the entrance gate is also host to the Royal Guards Changing Ceremony - a re-enactment of a combination of Chosun era practices.
