Namhansansong Park

The winner of the longest name for a park award, Namhansansong lies just outside Seoul to the southwest. A thoroughly pleasant break from the metropolis, Namhansansong is Korea's version of China's Great Wall. The walls and gates wind over hills for several kilometers culminating in a fortress (a 'song') atop Mt. Namhan.

Hours
Approximately 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. - though the restaurants in and near the park stay open later.
Transportation
Bus: there are hourly buses from the East Seoul Bus Terminal (Dong Seoul Bus Terminal - easily reached by subway from Kangbyon Station on the green line) between 8:20 a.m. and 7 p.m. The bus takes you directly to the park.
