Dwaeji-gogi Dwen-jang Gu-e
Roasted Pork in a Soybean Paste

Ingredients:

  • 600g (1.32lb) pork sirloin

Dressing:

  • 11/2 tblsp. soy bean paste - dwoen-jang
  • 1 tblsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tblsp. red wine
  • 1 tblsp. chopped green onions
  • 1 tblsp. crushed garlic
  • 1 tblsp. starch syrup (glucose) - mool-yut
  • 1/2 tblsp. powdered sesame seed
  • 1/2 tblsp. sesame oil
  • a dash of pepper


Directions:

1. Cut the meat in about 0.3cm thick pieces.

2. Knead meat with the dressing you prepared and tap meat with the dull side of a knife a few times to soften it.

3. Leave it for an hour and then cook to taste.
