Anapchi Pond

Built in 674 AD as a place for Shilla kings and the royal family to relax and party. When it was drained in the mid-1970s the pond revealed a huge find of Shilla era antiquities, some of which are on display at the National Museums in Seoul and Kyongju.

On foot: 10 minutes from Kyongju Station and 5-10 minutes from the National Museum, Tumuli Park and Chomsongdae.
